Q&A

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer: Please let us know by May 1st if you can make it. The earlier, the better for our planning! You can find the RSVP form here. If you need more time or have any concerns, please let us know. 

What is the dress code?

Answer: Cocktail attire - think suits, dresses (midi or long), jumpsuits - feel free to go fancy! The only rule: white is reserved for the bride. Dress codes always confused me/ us, and they can mean different things across countries and languages, so we've added some visual inspiration at the bottom of the page to give you a better idea of the vibe we're going for.

Can I/we give a speech or organize something special?

Answer: We'd love that! If you'd like to say a few words, perform something, or organize a surprise, please reach out to our toastmasters Hanna and Anna at [coming soon]. You can write them in German, Dutch, or English. They'll help coordinate the timing so everything flows smoothly during the celebration. (Note: they're only managing speeches and entertainment. For anything else about the wedding, contact us directly!)

What about gifts?

Answer: Honestly, having you travel all the way to Stockholm to celebrate with us is the best gift we could ask for. We know many of you are traveling far to be with us, and that's more than we could ever ask for. If you'd like to mark the occasion in some way, something personal and meaningful would touch us more than anything else.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer: The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside if the weather permits. Dinner on Friday might also be outside if the weather allows. Dinner on Saturday and the party will be indoors. Swedish summer can be beautiful, but maybe it is good to bring something to cover up in the evening

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests? How can I book it?

Answer: All rooms are booked from Friday to Sunday. No need for anyone to book their hotel rooms separately. 

How do I get to the wedding venue? 

Answer: We will organize shuttle buses from the city center and the Airport on Friday and Sunday. Find out more on Transportation here.

Is parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer: Yes, there is plenty of parking at the Hotel.  Find out more on Transportation here.

Can we arrive earlier or stay afterwards?

Absolutely! If you'd like to extend your stay before Friday or after Sunday, you're welcome to book additional nights directly with the hotel. Just let us know so we can help coordinate if needed.
